1.26.0 (20 September 2026)

  • A task with a long link or a long word in its notes pushed the screen sideways: you could scroll through your own task and the fields slid half out of view. Long words now break. The same is fixed in your activity log and for the time zone picker in the settings.
  • On a phone the calendar header fits again: the day or week you are looking at is spelled out in full, and the arrows to the previous and next one sit below it instead of off screen.

  • The Logbook now files finished work under the day in your own time zone. If you ticked something off late in the evening, it sometimes showed up under the next day. The same is fixed for "deleted on" in the trash, "archived on" in the archive, and the dates for your devices, sessions and passkeys in the settings.

  • The quick menu (Ctrl+K, Cmd+K on a Mac) now knows your areas, your tags and your places as well: type the name and you jump straight there. The Areas, Lists and Tags overviews have joined the pages.
  • Every place now has its own screen with the tasks waiting there, grouped by list and with a block for what you already finished there. You open it from the quick menu, or in Settings with the arrow behind the place.

  • Click an area in the sidebar and its lists now unfold in the column at the same time. Click the area you are already on and they fold back up. The AREAS, LISTS and TAGS headings do the same once you are on that overview. The chevron next to them still only folds and unfolds, without switching screens.

  • Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac) now also reverses an ordinary change, not just a deletion: a task you just ticked off is open again, a task you dragged to another list goes back, and a date or priority you adjusted returns to its old value. If you ticked off a repeating task, the next occurrence that appeared disappears again too. You get a short confirmation of what was reversed. It applies to your most recent change, for as long as you stay on the same screen.

  • Throwing a tag away now asks first, telling you how many tasks carry it, and afterwards you get a few seconds to undo it. The tag then comes back on exactly the same tasks.
  • You can now change your email address yourself, under Settings in Account. You type the new address and your password; you then confirm the change at your current address first and at the new one after that. Your tasks, passkeys and devices stay with your account.

  • Create places in Settings, such as Home or the supermarket, and pick one for a task. The app on your phone then reminds you of that task when you arrive or leave, and if you like only from the task's date. For now, searching for an address here only works for Dutch addresses.

  • A connected assistant, such as Claude, can now also add, rename and remove areas, so it can organise your lists itself. When it removes an area, the lists in it stay.

  • A link in a new task stays whole. A word like "tomorrow" or "@name" in the address used to be read as a date or list and dropped out of your link.

  • Logging out now takes you to the sign-in screen in one go. The dialog no longer jumps back to "Log out", and the sign-in screen appears complete right away, without a half-empty card that opens up a moment later.
  • Switch tabs on the sign-in screen for a moment, say to your mail or your authenticator, and what you typed is still there when you come back.

  • Type a task under a heading and send it to another list with @list, and it now actually ends up there. Your whole line used to vanish with an error.

  • You now arrange the bottom bar yourself: drag the four slots into order and put a smart list, one of your own lists, an area, a tag, a place, Search, the calendar or your activity in each. You set it up under Settings, in Appearance.
  • One slot can follow where you are: at the supermarket your shopping sits under your thumb, and at home it is back to normal. It uses the places you already use for location reminders.
  • A new screen per place: everything waiting for you there, in one list.

  • There is now a row at the top of a list where you type a task straight in. In a fresh list you could only add a heading before; now you simply put your first task in it.
  • Today and Someday let you type a task straight in as well, without opening the whole form. It lands in your Inbox, with today's date or as Someday right away.

  • After you sign out, your password manager offers your login on the sign-in screen right away. It used to appear only after you tapped between the fields a few times.
